Meet Our New Support Manager Mike

We are so excited to announce that Mike has taken over the position of Support Manager here at 3essentials.  Read on to see his answers to the Employee Questions!

 

Q.  What is your position at 3e?      …..since???

A. In the fall of 2010 3Essentials opened the front door one morning to find a basket on their porch with me inside. 3Essentials took me in and I’ve been with them ever since. I began on the Tier 2 escalations team and in January 2014 I accepted the position of Manager, Customer Service.

I’ve been in IT since 1995 working with IBM, EDS, and now 3Essentials. I began as a systems administrator, moved into technical leadership roles, and then as an infrastructure specialist in a web hosting organization that focused on large enterprise environments.

Q.  What do you like about your job?

A.  I’ve always appreciated the mental challenge offered in IT. It is a continuing cycle of learning.

Q. If you didn’t work for 3e what would you want to do?

A. I do a lot of cooking and entertaining with friends and family. I imagine I would bartend or provide catering; Something with a relaxed atmosphere that allows you to be social.

Q. When you aren’t at work, what do you like to do?

A. I am usually hiking or spending time at the beach or having friends and family over.

Q. If you could have one superhero power, what would it be?

A.  I would want superhuman speed or the ability to make copies of myself as there never seems to be enough time in the day to get everything done

Q. What’s your favorite techie toy? Tablet? Phone? Software?

A. The ability to turn off the computer and go outside.
